A big part of our school is our ‘TASS Learning Culture’, whereby we teach children about what learning is, plus what different types of learning there are, so that they start on their own life-long learning journey with confidence & excitement!
We help children to understand how they learn best as well as consider different methods so that they can select different techniques for different tasks.
A big part of this is ‘Assessment for Learning’ where children will assess themselves as well as each other, in order to identify strengths as well as areas to develop, & so begin to manage their own learning independently.
By the time that they leave us, our children are well set up to continue to build on the foundations set at TASS at secondary school & even beyond!
