Out of School Learning
Year 6
Dear parents & carers,
As you are aware, Sheffield schools are closed again due to the Coronavirus (COVID- 19). We want to minimise the impact this will have on your child’s learning so Online learning sessions will be via Zoom every day. A timetable & the activities and resources set by Mrs Soar & Mrs Stone that are needed for the following week, will be posted here on Fridays.
There is a bank of ideas below to help your child to continue learning and consolidating their understanding whilst they are away from school.
Children may well be using the internet more than usual at the moment so it is a good time to emphasise how to keep safe online. CEOP have produced lots of great resources which can be accessed at:

- Practice all the year 6 methods of calculation (See TASS website)
- Research the different cities in Brazil. Create a fact-file about each
- Create your own story based on a wolf or family of wolves
