Children in Need Day

At Totley All Saints, we like to celebrate Children in Need Day in style!  We always enjoy raising money for charity anyway, so Children in Need Day gives us another great excuse to get giving! From colourful & spotty clothing, makeup & hair – we’ve done it all!

On a more serious note, we also look at how Children in Need Day started, where our money goes & who it will be used to help. We also revisit how Children in Need Day started in 1980 & since then has raised over £600 million which it uses to change the lives of disabled children and young people in the UK. One of the highlights is the annual telethon held in November & of course – Pudsey Bear!

At Totley All Saints, we like to spark this ‘can do something about it’ attitude & regularly have children from each year group organise their own charity events when they see a need. Visit our Charity Work at TASS page to find out more.
